Slavoljub Stanković

Slavoljub Stanković (Smederevo, 1968), graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy and specialized in advertising at the University of Arts in Belgrade. He works in one of the largest advertising agencies in Belgrade. He is the author of several hundred advertising campaigns for renowned international and local brands. His literary career was launched in 2007 with the publication of his first novel, The Box, which received a large number of favourable reviews. A feature film based on the novel is currently in the making and is expected to be released by the end of the year.

His second novel, Split (2010) was published simultaneously in Serbia and Croatia.

Na sceni Raša Plaović "Narodnog pozorišta" u Beogradu, u sredu 15. marta, od 20:30 h, biće izvedena gostujuća predstava Centra za kulturu iz Tivta "Penelopijada". Predstavu je režirala Dragana Varagić po tekstu Margaret Atvud, čija je istoimena knjiga objavljena u Geopoetikinoj ediciji "Mitovi", 2005. godine.
