Slavoljub Stanković

Slavoljub Stanković (Smederevo, 1968), graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy and specialized in advertising at the University of Arts in Belgrade. He works in one of the largest advertising agencies in Belgrade. He is the author of several hundred advertising campaigns for renowned international and local brands. His literary career was launched in 2007 with the publication of his first novel, The Box, which received a large number of favourable reviews. A feature film based on the novel is currently in the making and is expected to be released by the end of the year.

His second novel, Split (2010) was published simultaneously in Serbia and Croatia.

Književno veče u Ambasadi Republike Srbije u Londonu

U četvrtak 12. aprila, u Ambasadi Republike Srbije u Londonu u organizaciji Udruženja srpskih pisaca i umetnika u inostranstvu (ASWA) održano je književno veče posvećeno Geopoetikinoj ediciji Srpska proza u prevodu (Serbian Prose in Translation – SPiT) i književnom opusu Vladislava Bajca, autora i direktora izdavačke kuće Geopoetika.

Povod za ovo književno veče je Međunarodna nagrada Londonskog sajma knjiga za izvrsnost u kategoriji Preduzimljivost u književnom prevođenju koju je Geopoetika dobila nedavno, upravo za ediciju SPiT.
